Job Summary
Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course is seeking friendly, reliable Pro Shop Attendants to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to golfers, assisting with pro shop operations, managing tee times, and helping maintain golf carts and driving range facilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and is interested in the game of golf.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
• Greet customers warmly and assist with questions, purchases, and reservations.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Provide information about golf course amenities, services, and upcoming events.
• Promote and sell memberships, packages, merchandise, and other services.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously.
Pro Shop Operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, including merchandise displays.
• Assist with inventory management including receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise.
• Answer phone calls regarding tee times, events, and general inquiries.
• Schedule tee times and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist customers with rental and other equipment.
Course & Facility Support
• Monitor pace of play on the course and report issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with course policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize golf carts and organize them for availability.
Qualifications
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate or learn a POS system
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of golf is helpful but not required
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs and work outdoors as needed
