Skyline
Drive

The Skyline Drive road winds 17 miles from Pinedale along Fremont Lake to Elkhart Park in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. This is a scenic drive on paved road. Wildlife is often seen: deer, antelope and sometimes elk and moose. The road offers views of Fremont and Half Moon Lakes and the best view around of the Wind River Mountain skyline.

The road is paved the entire 17 miles. Horse trailers and RVs can make this road and there is good turn-around space at the end. The upper stretch is a bit steep and has two U curves on the way.
