| Description: | We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our physical therapy office team. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and proficiently using different scheduling programs to manage appointments effectively.
- Treating all clients with kindness, respect, and empathy, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Willingness to primarily work at our Marbleton location but also able to work in Pinedale as needed.
- Ability to adapt and switch tasks dynamically as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in phone, written, digital, and in-person communication.
- Conducting intake procedures for new patients, gathering necessary information and ensuring accuracy of records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology or willingness to learn, to effectively communicate with therapists and patients, and with other healthcare disciplines and their offices.
- Scheduling patients across multiple settings, including outpatient, skilled nursing facility, home health, and school districts, coordinating appointments efficiently.
- Providing support to therapists by assisting with certain interventions, as well as setup and takedown of treatment sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting or customer service role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in learning software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care to all clients.
