Gary Lankford 2002 Pinedale high school graduation photo

Local Pinedale family Dave and Mary Lankford just recently learned that their son, Gary, has acquired a form of leukemia and is now undergoing treatment in Salt Lake City for the condition. Gary, a 2002 graduate of Pinedale High School, has been living in Billings, Montana. The family learned last week that he has Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML), a condition that results from the body not producing enough healthy blood cells. Gary has been transferred to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, for chemotherapy and treatment for his condition. According to friend of the family, Gary Neely, "his attitude is A+". The family is encouraging any support anyone would like to give to help Gary get through this by sending cards, e-mails or calls.
