Want to go out to celebrate the coming of the New Year? There are lots of fun activities going on around Pinedale for New Years, from great special dinners at local restaurants, ski events and New Year's celebrations at local establishments. Below are some of the highlights.
White Pine Ski Area & Resort Torchlight Parade Meet at White Pine at 5 pm. Ride to the top and ski parade down the wintery slopes with lighted flares. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to ski without poles to hold the flare. Light chili supper for $5 (chili, salad, cornbread and dessert). Stockman’s New Year’s Eve Fest Craving Chinese food? See a movie! On Friday, New Year's Eve, the Pinedale Entertainment Center will be showing: Ocean’s Twelve (PG-13), showtimes 7:15 pm & 9:45 pm. Meet the Flockers (PG-13), showtimes 7 pm & 9:30 pm. www.a-f-e-c.com In Big Piney at The Flick, movies on New Year’s Eve are Lemony Snickets (PG) at 7 pm, and National Treasure (PG)-late show starts Friday at 9:30 pm.
