Torchlight Ski Parade at White Pine Resort Dec. 31
December 20, 2004
Don’t miss the Annual White Pine Resort ‘Torchlight Parade’ as a fun way to bring in the New Year! Skiers meet at White Pine Lodge at 5 pm to ride the Little Spirit Lift to the top.
Must be proficient enough skier to be able to ski without poles since skiers will be carrying lit flares while skiing downhill. Join the ski parade, or just watch from the deck of the warm, cozy lodge with a cup of hot chocolate. Enjoy a light chili supper including salad, cornbread and a dessert for just $5/person. Beverages will be available, as will beer and wine for purchase. This will be a family event, with the focus on having fun, enjoying the early evening together and ringing in the New Year with a 'flare'. (Be sure to wear outer clothing that won’t be hurt, or you won’t mind, if a spark from the flare happens to fall on it.)
For more information, or to reserve your spot in the 'Torchlight Parade', please contact Kathy at the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce, 307-367-2242, or White Pine Ski Resort at 307-367-6606, ext. 3, www.whitepineski.com.
