Winter Storm Warning & Snow Advisory
1-10 inches of new snow possible

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midday Friday for the mountains west of the Continental Divide in Wyoming. The Warning includes Jackson Hole, the Star Valley and all of Yellowstone National Park. A snow and blowing Snow Advisory is in effect during this time for the Absaroka Mountains and the southern end of Lincoln County. There is a 70% chance of more snow through this week. Daytime temperatures will be in the 30s with cloudy skies and south-southwest winds between 7-14 mph. Night-time lows will drop into the single digits and negative numbers.
Many areas of the state received significant snowfall Monday night. Pinedale town only saw about an inch accumulation, but surrounding areas reported from 4-12 inches of new snow. The brunt of the storm has yet to hit us and weather forecasters caution that snow amounts will likely double in many locations west of the Continental divide before the weekend. Road reports as of Tuesday are for snowfall, some slick spots, and some fog.
