by Dawn Ballou
January 29, 2005
Wyoming ski resorts are faring pretty well for the remainder of the ski season, especially when compared to Montana and Idaho. Five out of 6 resorts in operation this season are still 100% open, including White Pine near Pinedale. Hogodon is operating at 89% capacity.
Three resorts in Montana are closed until further notice and six are running at reduced operations. In Idaho, five resorts are at 100% operations and six are open with reduced services.
White Pine is second in the state right now as far as snow base goes, with 62” operating at 100% services. All 25 trails are open and both lifts are running. Lift tickets at the family-oriented ski area are just $26/day for all-day adult passes. Upcoming events for White Pine Resort include the High School alpine ski races on February 11-12th and the Caroline Classic Ski Race on March 19th. (White Pine Ski Area)
