February 15, 2005
James Rogers has just posted a new story on "Off the Paved Road" about his hunting trip for wild pigs in Florida. "Off the Paved Road" is a collection of stories and experiences by local James Rogers. James was born and raised in Pinedale. His great grandfather homesteaded in the Upper Green River Valley in the mid-1800s. James has a ranching background and raises Black Angus cattle. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman and works as a Guide for Black Diamond Outfitting. In addition to all this, James is also is a real estate agent and land specialist working for Pinedale Properties Real Estate. On "Off the Paved Road", he writes about hunting, fishing, backcountry trips into the wilderness area, Wyoming real estate, ranch life, cattle and cow dogs, and many other interesting and unique aspects of life in Wyoming. "Off the Paved Road" is sponsored by Pinedale Online.
In his latest story about hunting wild pigs in Florida, James writes, "I must admit that hunting camp in Florida is just a tad bit different than wall tents, pack horses, and ten-degree nights, but this outfit was definitely rustic, and I was liking it a whole lot."
