Winter Storm Watch in effect to Monday

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Upper Green River Basin from Sunday afternoon until Monday morning.
A strong upper level storm system located off the Washington coast is expected to move into western Wyoming Sunday afternoon. Snow is expected to start after noon on Sunday, tapering off by Monday afternoon. Snow may become heavy at times Sunday evening and overnight, with snowfall accumulations of 5-10 inches by Monday morning possible. Breezy southwest winds may cause some areas of drifting snow. Heavy snowfall areas are expected to be the Upper Green River Basin into southern Lincoln County Sunday and Monday.
