Alpine Ski Team takes 3rd at State

Congratulations to the Men's and Women's Alpine Ski team for their 3rd place finishes at the State Championships in Jackson last weekend.
In Friday's slalom, Heidi Daniel led the Girls with a 12-place finish. Eli Mrak led the Men with a 7th place finish. Other skiers who placed on Friday were Cassie Webb 14th, Tessa Manning 16th, Eva Harrower 17th, and Meredith Noble 18th, Zach Thompson 15th and Jeff Biffle 16th.
In Saturday's Giant Slalom, Cassie Webb led the Girls with an 8th place finish. Luke Johnston led the Men with a 5th place finish. Other skiers who placed on Saturday were Eva Harrower 9th, Heidi Daniel 11th, Tessa Manning 14th, Meredith Noble 16th, Eli Mrak 11th, Jeff Biffle 16th and Zach Thompson 18th.
Four skiers earned a spot on this year's All-State team. They were second team selections Heidi Daniel, Luke Johnston and Eli Mrak. Cassie Webb earned a spot on this year's Honorable Mention team.
