Wrangler Boys overtake Lusk 53-36
State 2A Boys Basketball Tourney in Casper

The Pinedale Wrangler High School Boys defeated Niobrara County 53-36 Friday morning in the State 2A Basketball tournament in Casper. The Wranglers led the Lusk Tigers throughout the game, shooting over 80% from the free throw line into the 3rd quarter. Pinedale led by 9 points at the end of the 1st quarter, then by 14, 25, and 17 points at end of each of the subsequent quarters.
This win moves Pinedale up to play one more consolation game on Saturday morning at 9 am at Casper College gym. The Wranglers will play either Southeast or Rocky Mountain, depending on who wins the game being played at 1:30 today. Saturday’s Wrangler game will be broadcast live on local Pinedale KPIN 101.1 FM radio.
