For those of you in law enforcement who are wanting to move to a more rural area with less violent crime and drug problems, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office has three job openings available: Detention Deputy, Dispatcher, Patrol Deputy. Deadline for these positions is TODAY, April 4. However, with the power of the internet and faxes, anyone interested still has time to get an application in. These are full-time positions that range in salary from $2,800-$3,430/month, depending on experience.

All positions require shift rotation and working holidays and weekends. The successful candidates must meet established standards through written, oral, medical, physical and psychological examination as well as an extensive background check. Additional consideration will be given to those applicants who are currently P.O.S.T. certified. Starting salary for Detention Deputy is $3,098.87 to $3,430.00 a month, commensurate with experience. Starting salary for Dispatcher is $2,817.27 - $3,144.33 a month, commensurate with experience. Starting salary for Patrol Deputy is $3,262.32 to $3,425.16 per month, commensurate with experience.
