Museum of the Mountain Man opens May 1
April 29, 2005
The Museum of the Mountain Man will open for the summer season on Sunday, May 1st. They will be open daily from 9 am until 5 pm through the end of September. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $3 for children.
Highlights for this season include the publication of “The Fur Trade and Rendezvous of the Green River Valley” magazine, the Pinedale book by Ann Noble “Pinedale: A Centennial History, 1904-2004”, and reprinting of Richard Hecox’s “Memories of Kendall Valley”. For this year’s Green River Rendezvous in July, the Museum brings back Native American historian Michael Terry and his Plains Indian encampment, Lapita Frewin for children’s programs, an art show by Richard Luce, and Gage Skinner presenting his field museum of the fur trade.
