Gracy Huntley, Student Member of the Pinedale Fine Arts Council Board of Directors during the PFAC 2004-2005 season, will be graduating this spring. She plans on working for the Forest Service this summer before starting college in the fall. One of Pinedale High School’s true "superachievers", Gracy has maintained a 4.0 grade average while somehow finding time to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
As their Student Board Member, she has been a key participant in all of PFAC’s activities, helping to coordinate the Millennium Arts Award project, and the student volunteers for concerts and various other projects. According to PFAC, "Attending the monthly PFAC board meetings, Gracy provided valuable insight into how PFAC can better serve the needs of Pinedale students. Her presence on the board will be greatly missed, but we know she’ll be having a great time at college and we all wish her the very best."
Keely Knapp will be PFAC’s new Student Board Member for the 2005-2006 season. She recently spent four weeks with the Wyoming Legislature working as an aide to Representative Monte Olsen, and later as a page for the entire Senate. She also attended TeenPact while living in Louisiana. TeenPact is an organization similar to the Wyoming Girl’s and Boy’s State programs. Keely is planning to attend Girl’s State this summer, prior to her senior year here in Pinedale.
"We are very excited about having Keely onboard, since her experience with the Legislature and her interest in being involved in politics will no doubt be a big asset to her while serving on our Board of Directors," said PFAC.
