Free dump days, community clean-up efforts

June is clean-up month in Sublette County. The Sublette County Chamber of Commerce be hosting community cleanup efforts in Pinedale on Saturday, June 4th and in Marbleton/Big Piney the following Saturday on June 11th.
The Town of Big Piney’s cleanup days run through June 12th. They will have dumpsters available between Tegeler’s and Just Imagine until Sunday, June 12th. Free Dump Days will be from June 3-11 in Big Piney. Bring a copy of your water bill when utilizing the dump. Renters can contact the Big Piney Town Hall for more information. No tires, batteries, hazardous material or refrigerators will be allowed during Free Dump Days. Anyone not able to haul to the dump or dumpsters in Big Piney can stack things along the town’s right-of-way for pick-up by maintenance personnel. The Town of Marbleton is hosting Free Disposal Days at the Marbleton Landfill on three Saturdays during the summer, June 18, July 16 and August 20th. The free disposal is for Sublette County residents only, and excludes commercial and industrial wastes and concrete. Residents must show proof of residency by providing a current driver’s license and a paid electric bill. At other times, a fee is charged to drop refuse off at the landfill. No hazardous materials are accepted and uncovered loads are charged double. All construction debris must be prior approved and metal must be separated.
