Single car roll-over on Hwy 191 on Friday, July 22
July 23, 2005
A single car roll-over accident claimed the lives of Doris and William Burzlander of Pinedale on Friday afternoon, July 22, according to a report by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The Burzlanders were traveling northbound on US Hwy 191 about 45 miles south of Pinedale when, for unknown reasons, their vehicle crossed the center line and went off the left side of the roadway. The roadway at the time was dry and the weather conditions were clear. After the vehicle left the roadway the driver overcorrected the steering which caused the vehicle to slide sideways as it went down the sloped barrow pit. The vehicle then rolled coming to rest on its top. Doris was driving the 1998 Ford passenger car and seat belts were in use by both occupants. Doris (age 84) and William (age 87) both died at the scene around 1:43 pm.
At their request, no services will be held.
