FS Planning Workshops July 19 & 20
In Pinedale and Marbleton
July 14, 2005
The Bridger-Teton National Forest is in the process of revising the BTNF Forest Plan and will be holding two local workshops to gather public input. The first session will be held at the Marbleton Fire Hall on Tuesday, July 19th from 4 to 10 pm. The second session will be in Pinedale on Wednesday, July 20th, at the VFW from 4 -10 pm.
The Forest Plan is the guiding document to help the Forest Service manage national forest land on the Bridger-Teton National Forest over the next 10-20 years. These meetings are intended to gather public input and ideas for future management. Unlike most meetings, there is no existing list of alternatives or concerns that are being highlighted for comments. Forest Service personnel including the District Ranger, mapping staff, public affairs and others will be on hand to answer questions and listen to comments. Food will be available for participants and childcare will also be available.
