Below are highlights of this year’s Rendezvous. There are many more events taking place than what is listed below, so be sure to check the full schedule for the complete listing. For information about last-minute lodging or event schedules, stop by the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center located across from the "cow mural" , 26 North Tyler Avenue. (Last we heard there still is lodging at Best Western, Half Moon Motel, Wagon Wheel Motel, Half Moon Lake Resort, Hidden Heart Ranch and the Marbleton Inn. More Lodging) Both our newspapers will have Rendezvous schedules this week (published on Thursday). There are also posters and schedules posted around town and at local motels and restaurants.
The most common confusion we’ve heard so far are questions about the dates and times for the parade and pageant. In the past they were both on Saturday, but this year the pageant is on Sunday at 1 pm ($5 admission) like it was last year. The parade will take place on Pine Street/Hwy 191 on Saturday at 11 am. Note that the highway through Pinedale will be blocked to through traffic during the parade, which runs from A to Z Hardware to Faler’s. Vehicles will need to use side streets to get through town. For those new to town, The Rendezvous/Rodeo Grounds are located on the hill 1/4 mile south of Pinedale from Hwy 191. Follow signs up the hill. Rendezvous Grounds are behind the rodeo arena. Ample parking, restrooms. Traders Row will again be located between Faler’s and Sublette Center.
