Erica Weber from Cora at the University of Wyoming by University of Wyoming August 23, 2005 Erica Weber, from Cora, is a bio-electrical engineering student at the University of Wyoming (UW). Weber received a National Science Foundation Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research Fellowship (EPSCoR) to complete assistive technology research this summer. Erica is working on a hand-powered tricycle designed to allow children with little to no function in their legs to ride like their able-bodied peers. She worked with Steven Barrett, assistant professor in electrical and computer engineering at UW, to complete projects to assist disabled children in Wyoming. |
