The Pinedale Snow Explorers Snowmobile Club and the Wyoming Snowmobile Racing Association will be sponsoring the 2005 Snowmobile Grass Drag Races in Pinedale on Saturday, August 20th.

The annual event will be held on the west end of Pinedale off U.S. Highway 191. There will be classes for Juniors, Stock, Mountain Stock, Improved and Mountain-Improved Stock, and Modified and Mountain-Modified machines. Safety equipment is required.

Races begin at 11 am on Saturday and there will be concessions available near the track. Registration will take place on Saturday morning from 7:30 am to 9 am. A driver’s meeting will be held at 9:30 am. Out-of-towners spending the night can get a special racer discount for their motel rooms if they stay at the nearby new Amerihost motel, 307-367-8300.
