Snow will continue through the week
Looking good for start of skiing and snowmobiling seasons
November 29, 2005
Snow is expected every day for the next week here in the Upper Green River Valley as a couple of storms pass through western Wyoming. The valleys will get 2-3 inches and the mountains will get 4-7 inches by Wednesday.
Gusty winds will create blowing and drifting snow and limited visibility at times. Winds will also drop the wind chill factor making for very cold temperatures of -12 to -17 overnight. Daytime highs will be in the 20s.
Another, stronger storm system is expected to come into western Wyoming Thursday and Friday bringing heavy snowfall into the weekend.
White Pine Ski Area now has 20 inches total depth with 12 of 25 trails open, with both lifts running.
