December 21, 2005
PM Update: The National Weather Service out of Riverton has issued a Snow Advisory for the mountains and valleys of western Wyoming for Wednesday night through Thursday morning. Roads are expected to become very slick with wet snow accumulating on frozen road surfaces.
Snow is expected to develop across western Wyoming starting Wednesday with 3-5 inches of new snow possible in the valleys of western and Central Wyoming by Thursday. Higher elevations could get 6-9 inches of fresh snow with this latest system. There will be a small break on Thursday evening, then another system moving in on Friday bringing another chance of snow for the weekend.
The weekend weather and Christmas Day looks like it will be partly cloudy with daytime highs in the mid-20s. Expect snow showers on traveling days of Friday and Monday.
