Hiking the Wind River Mountains, Bridger-Teton National Forest

If you are planning a vacation to the Wind River Mountains next summer, here’s where to order hiking and recreation maps to help plan your trip.
The Grand Teton Natural History Association (GTNHA) has an online store that includes a variety of very good hiking maps for our area. The GTNHA was founded in 1937 as a cooperating association to provide informational materials to be sold to Grand Teton National Park visitors. In addition to maps for the Park, they also have maps for the Bridger-Teton National Forest and Wind River Mountain Range.
Maps available include: USGS Quads for the Wind River Mountain Range Earthwalk Press Hiking Maps for the Wind River Mountains Climbing and Hiking the Wind River Mountains Wind River Trails Pinedale Ranger District Map, Bridger-Teton National Forest Big Piney, Greys River and Kemmerer Ranger District Maps (BTNF) Wyoming Recreational Map Hiking and Trail guides for Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks Targhee National Forest Map
In addition, the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce has local maps for the Pinedale area they can send you.
