Melting

What a change a couple of weeks make! Two weeks ago we had temperatures of minus 30 and 40 below zero. Now we're in a heat wave and melting. Temperatures yesterday and today were in the high 30s and 40s causing a lot of snow to melt in the lower valley. Rondy Sled Dog Mushers: Don't fret over the melting in town! Race organizers have checked out the Upper Green trail and everything looks fine. The higher elevations got fresh snow out of this system, where town got rain, so things look great for the weekend for the sled dog race! Ditto for weekend skiers and snowmobilers. Snow up high is great with fresh powder!
