Cattle Drive in Daniel Cattle drive just south of Daniel, Wyoming.

Don't be surprised if you're driving down a highway in Wyoming and unexpectedly meet a herd of cattle on the road. Even today, winter or summer, cattle drives are part of the cowboy way of life in our area as ranchers move herds from one pasture to another. All you can do is slow down and let them get past. This cattle drive happened Saturday just south of the tiny town of Daniel, about 11 miles west of Pinedale.
