Snow Advisory through Sunday
3-5 inches new snow expected in the valley

A Snow Advisory is in effect for much of western Wyoming through 5 pm on Sunday. Snow is expected to increase after midnight on Saturday, dropping several inches in the valleys and more in the mountains. Snow will taper off late Sunday evening. Up to 3 inches is expected near Pinedale and 5 inches near Bondurant. Nearby mountains may see up to 10 inches of new snow.
Another, possibly much stronger, snowstorm is expected to move into western Wyoming around Wednesday. Travelers should be prepared for winter driving conditions with blowing snow, limited visibility at times and possible strong winds associated with these storms.
Weather Forecast: Saturday Night: Periods of snow, mainly after midnight. Low near 15. Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming northeast. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high around 28. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Sunday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -6. Wind chill values between -20 and -30. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 18 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Monday, Martin Luther King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 18. Wind chill values between -19 and -29. Northwest wind between 13 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -7. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 16 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
