Arrowhead Lake Arrowhead Lake in the Bridger Wilderness of the Wind River Mountains.

Sick of snow? Here's a picture for those of you who can't wait for summer to get here. The snow usually melts off the high country sometime in July, depending on the year. Here's a view of Arrowhead Lake in the Big Sandy area of the southern Wind River Mountains. It is near Jackass Pass, just south of Cirque of the Towers, accessed from the Big Sandy Trail. This beautiful, rugged terrain is still months away from being accessible again, but we thought you'd like the reminder of what's to come!
