Brigid Flanigan passes away

Brigid Snow Flanigan passed away on Thursday, March 16, in New York. She was a summer resident of the Big Sandy Ranch, as well as a member of the local Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. She was a generous donor and Jim Bridger League member of the Museum of the Mountain Man, faithful supporter of the Pinedale Fine Arts Council, and active in the local Green River Valley Land Trust.
According to an obituary that appeared in the New York Times, she was a generous benefactor and had a life-long interest in education. She served on the Board of the Purchase College Foundation of SUNY College at Purchase, New York, and on the Advisory Board of St. Ann Elementary School in Manhattan. Flags were flown at half staff at the entrance to the Purchase College in her honor. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 20 in New York. The family requests donations on her behalf be made to your favorite charity.
