More snow on tap for the weekend

Another Pacific storm system is expected to arrive in western Wyoming beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday, possibly bringing more snow to the area. Light snow showers and potential strong winds are possible for the next several days.
The storm that came through on Tuesday, February 28, dropped the following snow totals on areas in the region. The heaviest snowfall occurred during the afternoon hours, when isolated thunderstorms enhanced snowfall rates, according to the National Weather Service out of Riverton. White Pine Ski Area picked up 4 inches of fresh powder out of Tuesday's storm, bringing their base up to 60 inches.
