Field of Yellow Flowers

The mountain hillsides are alive with color with many varieties of wildflowers in bloom. Arrowleaf balsam root, geraniums, larkspur and Indian paintbrush are all in full bloom. Up in the highest elevations, snow still covers the ground, and spring is still a couple weeks away above 10,000 feet in elevation.
