How should public lands in county be managed?
Commissioners set two public comment hearings in July
June 30, 2006
The Sublette County Commissioners have set two hearings in July to solicit public comment on a proposed plan to reflect the position of Sublette County on the management and use of public lands. The plan, when approved, will clearly communicate to public land management agencies the county’s position on the issues that affect the county’s heritage, culture, economy and environment. The plan would then be utilized by federal agencies in making planning and management decisions.
Hearing dates: Pinedale: Tuesday, July 11, 7:00 pm Sublette County Courthouse, Commissioner’s meeting room
Marbleton/Big Piney: Wednesday, July 12, 7:00 pm Marbleton County Annex, 4th St & Winkelman Avenue.
