Pinedale area road construction update

Pinedale Tyler Street Construction This week, construction is occurring on Tyler Avenue from Mapfel Street north to Charles Street. Construction signs will be placed along those sections to warn motorists. There will be one-lane through traffic with the possibility of 20-minute delays while work occurs. When required, detour signs will be placed ahead of construction showing motorists how to get around the construction. Please be aware that all alternate routes, as well as Tyler Avenue, are through residential neighborhoods. Please slow down through construction zones.
Pinedale Sublette Avenue Construction Construction of valley pans will continue in the southeast portion of town on Sublette Avenue. Some east-west running streets intersecting Sublette Avenue may be closed at times for concrete pouring and curing. Watch for traffic control barriers. The intersection of Pine Street and Sublette Avenue will again be very busy. Concrete will be poured on the north side of the highway. Sewer lines will continue to be constructed from the highway north up Sublette Avenue. Traffic control will be in place diverting traffic to either the south or north side of the highway. Please slow down through construction zones.
Highway 191 South of Pinedale Construction Construction continues on Highway 191 for 11 miles from Pinedale south to just north of Boulder. Crews are removing of a portion of the existing surface and placing overlay. There is also work being done installing a left turn lane at the Paradise County Road. Construction is scheduled through the end of October. Travelers should plan for the possibility of 20-minute delays with stopped conditions.
Highway 351 Big Piney Cutoff Construction Work crews are placing a leveling course and overlay on WYO 351 from milepost 6.00 to 12.87. A new left turn lane is being installed at the Sublette County Landfill and Paradise Road. Road is paved, and there should be no delays. Construction will be in progress through the end of October.
Highway 189 LaBarge to Big Piney Section Road construction is occurring on approximately six miles of highway on 189 north of LaBarge. Workers are doing partial reconstruction between mileposts 91.5 to 97.5. Expect some detours off the paved road with speed slow downs to 10-20 miles per hour. Crews are widening, placing overlay, doing slope work, pit run and crushed base placement, asphalt paving, seeding and fencing along this stretch. Work is scheduled to be in progress through mid-November.
