WY Native Plant Society meets in Pinedale July 14-16

The Wyoming Native Plant Society will hold its annual meeting in Pinedale July 14 - 16. The public is invited to attend the guided tours and talks. For more information call 307-859-8606 or 307-367-3058. Below is the schedule of tours and walks for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The business meeting will be held on Saturday evening.
FRIDAY, JULY 14: 5:30 pm: Food Foraging Foray Meet at Sandy Beach picnic area, south Fremont Lake, Fremont Lake Campground (Bridger-Teton National Forest).
SATURDAY, JULY 15: 9:30 am-Noon: Mesa Sagebrush Tour Meet at Sandy Beach picnic area. 10 am-Noon: Fremont Lakeside Plant and Birding Tour Meet at Fremont Lake Campground boat dock near campsite #44. noon - Lunch on your own. 1:30-4:30 pm: Kendall Warm Springs Area Tour Meet at Duck Creek pullout on Highway 191, mile marker 103, about 3 miles west of Pinedale. 2:00-4:30 pm: Soda Lake and Aspen Tour Meet at American Legion Park on Pine Street at Pine Creek. 5:30-9 pm: Wyoming Native Plant Society Business Meeting, Campfire Dinner Social and Native Plant Cultivation Presentation Meet at Sandy Beach picnic area. There will be a display area for books, including a new Wyoming wildflower book for sale.
SUNDAY, JULY 16: 9:30-Noon: Elkhart Park Walk in the Winds Meet at Sandy Beach picnic area. Bring a sack lunch.
