Battle Mountain Fire Thursday afternoon update, 2:30 pm

Size: Increased from 160 to 385 acres
Progress Today: Fire fighters have been able to tie in the south east flank of the fire, which is where the major threat was. Hoses have been laid down and they have been able to contain the spot fires.
The rest of today is still ahead of us, with winds and warm temperatures affecting today’s progress.
Incident Commander, Paul Hutta, with the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, said things are "going well".
The Forest Service will send more updates as information comes available.
