Q. "Do I need separate archery licenses to hunt big game like deer, elk and antelope?"
A. You need to buy an archery license in addition to your big game licenses to hunt during the archery preseason. You do not need to buy a separate archery license for each big game species. The archery license simply allows you to hunt during the archery season. It is required of all archers who have a regular, not archery only license. Holders of archery only licenses do not need the separate archery permit. For residents, the archery license is $13 and for nonresidents the fee is $25. Archery licenses are available at license agents throughout the state.
