North Carolina man found dead near Cliff Creek

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reported the death of a North Carolina man who was found in the Cliff Creek Road area on Wednesday, August 2. According to the SCSO news release, a U.S. Forest Service agent was checking campgrounds when they located the body of a decomposed male in the bed of a pickup truck with a camper. The man was later identified as Daniel Charles Neuber, age 54, from Kannapolis, North Carolina. According to the report, it appeared Neuber had been in Wyoming the last few months taking photographs and camping.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the SCSO does not expect any foul play. An autopsy was performed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to determine cause of death, however lab results will not be available for three to four weeks.
