On Saturday, August 12, the Pinedale Recycling Center will be hosting their annual Hazardous Waste Disposal Day. This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of those dangerous chemicals, paints, cleaning fluids, old gasoline and other toxic chemicals that have accumulated over the year. Big Piney held their toxic waste disposal day on Friday, August 11. The collected chemicals will be sent to an out-of-state processing facility where they will be disposed of safely.
Things to bring down include old batteries, vehicle oil, old paint, fluorescent light bulbs, aerosol spray cans, paint thinner, wax strippers. No ammunition will be accepted.
