Wyoming's high country fish management hits televisions of all elevations this August on the Outdoor Channel's Fish and Wildlife Journal show.
The show profiles the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's strategy to provide backcountry fishing in the lower Wind River Mountains. Produced by the Game and Fish and featuring Lander Fish Biologist Kevin Johnson and narration by videographer Ray Hageman, the segment airs Wednesday, August 9 at 2:00 pm and Saturday, August 12 at 8:00 pm. The show is also slated to re-run November 8 at 2:00 pm and November 11 at 8:00 pm.
The cameras follow Johnson, his crew and a pack-string of llamas as they sample alpine lakes in the area.
Fish and Wildlife Journal is a magazine-style show produced in cooperation with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, which represents all 50 state fish and wildlife agencies and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The program highlights wildlife management agencies' activities, programs, events, issues and participation opportunities for the nation's sportsmen and women.
