Fire Danger

Fire danger is Extreme right now on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Fire restrictions are in effect. Campfires are allowed only in developed campgrounds. Outdoor recreationists and hunters are asked to be extremely careful with campfires and cigarettes. On the bright side, firefighters have made significant progress on two area wildfires, prompting fire managers to lift or reduce closures in several areas.
