(Pinedale) Forest officials are allowing firewood removal from slash piles at the entrance of the Green River Lakes Campground on the Pinedale Ranger District. Firewood can only be removed from these piles with a current firewood permit valid until December 31, 2006.

If you have a current firewood permit, please do not take off the slash piles which are signed as “non-removal.” Sections of the Green River Lakes Road are rough and have washboards. Please use caution while traveling on those portions of the road.
