First National Bank becomes First State Bank of Pinedale
October 5, 2006
First National Bank of Pinedale has announced a change of their name to First State Bank of Pinedale. The name change took effect on October 1st.
First National Bank of Pinedale was a financial institution in Pinedale since 1964, started by Vernon and Virginia Delgado. The bank sold to new owners in 2005.
Along with the new name, the bank is undergoing considerable remodeling, both inside and out. There will soon be a drive-up banking facility with four drive-up lanes plus a drive-up ATM. The lobby area and offices inside are being remodeled. The new bank is expanding their banking services to include a mortgage real estate lending department and adding more staff. The bank is online at www.pinedalebank.com.
Bank customers can still continue using existing checks, debit cards and other forms while the transition is taking place to the new bank name. The bank plans to have a Grand Opening soon once the drive-up facility and remodeling are finished.
