Peak is Sunday night November 19, 2006 The annual Leonid meteor shower has been producing an impressive display across our expansive Wyoming night skies, with some of the shooting stars coming across as fast, bright fireballs with long trails. The show is expected to peak tonight, Sunday, November 19 with as many as 100 shooting stars per hour possible as the Earth passes through a trail of debris left by the Leonids’ parent comet. Bundle up, night-time temperatures will be in the teens, but the viewing is worth it! |
