Not registered? You can still vote in Wyoming!
General Election, November 7, 2006
November 6, 2006
If you want to vote in Tuesday’s elections, but haven’t yet registered, there’s good news. Wyoming is one of the few states in the nation where voters can register at the polls on Election Day.
State law also provides that employers must give workers an hour away from the workplace to vote, aside from their regular mealtime, if their work schedules are such that they do not have three consecutive hours away from work to get to the polls.
Still won’t be able to make it to the polls on Tuesday? Absentee Ballots are available until 5:00 pm on the day before the election. Absentee Ballots are due back to the County Clerk’s office by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
The polls will be open on Tuesday, November 7, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
