Punchers win State 3A Football Championship!
November 11, 2006
The victorious Big Piney Punchers returned to Big Piney around 2AM Sunday morning, with sheriff, fire trucks and enthusiastic fans escorting them back into town. Despite the wee hour, they were given a full flashing light and siren parade into town.
Pictured from the team from left to right are seniors: Ignacio DelCarre (#42, Kicker), Seth Linn (#30, RB/LB) Brady Parks (#53, OL/LB), Parker Greenwood (#21, RB/DB), Trevor Wilson (#61, OL/LB ), Zak Redden (#71, OL/DE) and Tanner Bates (#51, OL/LB), all seniors. Not pictured is senior Brett Moffat (#15, Q/DB).
The Big Piney Punchers are coached by Joel Eskelsen, Jim Rougs, Bill Hehr and Kevin Ruff. Puncher Manager is Shawn Cain. Congratulations Punchers!
