Winter Storm Warning & Snow Advisory

The National Weather Service out of Riverton has issued a Snow Advisory until 8 am on Tuesday.
A potent storm system will bring heavy snow to far western Wyoming into Tuesday. Snow is expected to develop Monday night and continue overnight. New snowfall of 3-5 inches will occur in the Bondurant and Cora areas. Snowfall of 2-3 inches is expected to occur around Pinedale. Mountain areas could get 10-14 inches of new snow.
Mountain top winds from 30-45 mph will further reduce visibilities, in some cases to near zero, especially over mountain passes.
Snow will taper off Tuesday afternoon.
Drivers are urged to be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving. Check road reports prior to traveling.
