In mid-December, dignitaries from throughout Sublette County government and operators in the natural gas industry attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sand Draw Rescue Center. The center will host a full ambulance crew 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, giving quicker response to emergencies in the nearby booming Jonah and Pinedale Anticline natural gas fields. Industry operators kicked in $900,000 for the new $1.4 million building. Sublette County contributed another $500,000. The county health care district will fully staff the facility which will be completed in early April, 2007.
