Snowmobiling A group of snowmobilers enjoys a Saturday on New Year's weekend out on the Upper Green River trails portion of the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail.

The Upper Green River area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest is a popular snowmobiling area. There are miles of groomed trails and acres of off-trail powder riding. Trails are groomed from The Place to Green River Lakes and on the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail (CDT) over Union Pass to Dubois. Green River Guest Ranch/The Place offers snowmobile rentals, cabins, restaurant and a saloon within a few minutes of the Upper Green BTNF forest boundary.
