The Sublette County Commissioners are seeking volunteers to serve on several boards in the county. Anyone interested in volunteering should write a letter of application to the Board, care of Mary Lankford, County Clerk, PO Box 250, Pinedale, WY 82941, or e-mail: sbcc@state.wy.us, or fax to 307-367-6396 by 5:00 pm on Friday, December 29, 2006. The County Commissioners will make the appointment announcements at their meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2007.

The following board positions are available:

Fair Board, 1 position, 5 year term
Fair Board, 1 position, 3-year term
Fair Board, 1 position, 2-year term
Recreation Board, 2 positions, 5-year terms
Certified Local Government, 3 positions, 3-year terms
Agriculture Center Committee, 1 position, 3-year term

The Sublette County Weed and Pest Control District is also seeking nominations for a Director. Nominees should submit a petition signed by at least ten (10) landowners to the County Clerk's office by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Appointments will be made for the Pinedale District and the At-Large District.
