Hwy 191 in Hoback Canyon closed 1 PM today
Avalanche Control Work - Expect brief delays

11:00 AM: The Wyoming Department of Transportation will be doing avalanche control work in the Hoback River Canyon on US Hwy 191 at 1:00 PM TODAY. Brief delays can be expected.
Tomorrow morning, Sunday, January 7, Teton Pass will be closed for avalanche control at 3:00 AM. Snow slides reaching the highway may prolong the closure.

Update 5:15 PM, from the Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center: The Cow of the Woods slidepath in Hoback canyon was triggered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation on Saturday resulting in 8 feet of debris on the road.
